New Work, Sunny Day

It’s a Monday and a lovely one at that. The sun has been shining all day and I’ve got a really cool new project.

I have been commissioned to create portrait dolls of three beautiful girls and their cousin. Another Etsian, one who happens to live in the same town, wants her daughters and niece immortalized as cloth dolls! I am so stoked about this work. I’m preparing the muslin to day and will cut the doll bodies tomorrow.

I will share the work here as I go along. Fun!

Worth It!

Readers know I’ve been in the habit of keeping farmer’s hours. I’m up at 5 a.m., sometime earlier but I’ve been trying to stay up a little later as we head toward Sunday nights.

It’s all for the love of Breaking Bad. I have to stay awake until 10 p.m. and be somewhat coherent to really enjoy the show.

This season seems just as intriguing as the last. I am invested in the characters and the writers are so very good at building believable, engaging tense drama.

Hey, LA Ink producers, stop trying to create drama the cheap way. Nobody respects you and your fucking with peoples heads in the most irritating way.

I rarely have any idea how the Breaking Bad writers will work their characters out of their jambs. It seems the stakes are always growing and everything is on the table. It’s spell binding.

Female Parts

After being called on the absence, in my Etsy shop, of the glorious woman’s equivalent to my plushy phallus, I will spend the morning sculpting a vagina from soft fleece and stuffing.

Please return to my blog to see the amazing results. I’ll be stoked to put in each stitch, pulling a life-like creation from sweet pink, lavender and maroon cloth.

I’m working on adding a richness of color to the phallus and, so too, the future vaginas. More mocha, browns and dark beige shades the next time I go to JoAnne’s.

No more vagina fear. No more vajayjay (silly, Oprah).

We could launch large cuddly vaginas into the marketplace. You could see them routinely tossed on the beds of smart young girls. Small genitals might dangle from the backpacks of a million junior high students. Labia Libre!

Let’s love our parts. Out of the skirts and trousers and into the streets.
